Covid-19: How Will the Government Respond?

Join experts from Bloomberg Government for a discussion of potential federal responses to the spread of the coronavirus that causes Covid-19. Though the situation is fluid, the administration and lawmakers are keeping all options on the table to protect public health, including a number of financial measures to support the economy.

This insightful conversation will focus on:

Stimulus packages used during earlier crises
Options discussed by Congress and the administration
Possible industry-specific assistance
Tax cuts and other measures

In addition, in light of some states opting to delay voting in the presidential primaries, Bloomberg Government’s resident election expert Greg Giroux and leadership reporter Emily Wilkins will join the conversation to discuss the implications for not only the presidential contest but also the important down ballot races.
