Contracts to Watch: DIA’s Multiple-Award Contract SITE III

The Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) $12 billion multiple-award contract Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) III is a window into the needs of the DIA and other intelligence agencies as their IT enterprises are forced to evolve to keep pace with a 21st century information environment. SITE III provides strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the agency’s infrastructure, systems, and applications.

The agency issued contracts to 25 large businesses and 25 small businesses for the predecessor contract, E-SITE. Awards will be based on vendor’s qualifications; whether its proposal is technically acceptable and conforms to SITE III’s requirements; and whether it offers fair and reasonable pricing.
