He specializes in identifying the largest contracts in the government market and advising clients on custom research engagements. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he served as an analyst focusing on GSA/VA Federal Supply Schedule consulting. He holds an undergraduate degree in political science from Siena College and Masters in Business Administration and an M.S. in government contracts at The George Washington University. Paul Murphy is a Senior Data Analyst with Bloomberg Government. Murphy's expertise includes building custom dashboards, big data analysis, and small business spending trends. Before Bloomberg acquired his company in 2010, he spent 25 years as President of Eagle Eye Publishers, where he brought the first-ever desktop-based contracts database to market.
