Rob Sweeney leads Citi's State and Local Government Relations (SLGR) group, directing its advocacy efforts and outreach to state and local officials. Rob joined Citigroup's State and Local Government Relations team in August 2000 after serving as a Legislative Director for the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) in Washington, DC. Rob graduated cum laude from Providence College and received his JD from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University.
