Jonathan Nicholson is the deputy team leader for BGov's Social Policy, Defense and Homeland Security team. His team covers transportation, education, defense, homeland security, agriculture, health care and federal regulations. He covered the federal budget and House leadership for BNA from 2005 to 2017. Prior to that, he covered the economy and the Treasury Department at Thomson Reuters, Dow Jones Newswires and the Bond Buyer. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma.
