Bloomberg Government’s Kyle Trygstad and Greg Giroux broke down all the primaries to watch this week on the latest episode of Downballot Counts.

The most intriguing races are a few safe open House seats where the Republican nominee will almost certainly win in November, some competitive House seats in Texas, and three Senate contests that will officially kick off once the results are in.

Alabama is hosting the marquee race: former Attorney General Jeff Sessions (R) is seeking the Senate seat he gave up to join the Trump administration and faces the president’s preferred candidate, former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville.
