Since the 2012 elections, the conversation around immigration policy in the U.S. has shifted with dramatic developments emerging earlier this year. On February 26, Bloomberg Government held a webinar exploring the various proposals that are being debated to reform federal immigration policy, their prospects for passage, and the potential impacts on the economy and businesses.  Covered topices included border security, E-Verify, paths to citizenship and enforcement, among others.

The webinar was moderated by BGOV’s Research Director, Bob Litan.  Panelists included Senior Quantitative Analyst Jason Arvelo, Director of Legislative Analysis Loren Duggan, Senior Research Analyst Matthew Hummer, Managing Analyst Caroline Savello and Quantitative Analyst Jorge Uquillas.
