For over 26 years, Eagle Eye Publishers has provided the highest quality federal government contract and grant data and intelligence. In February of 2010, we became part of a new business at Bloomberg LP – Bloomberg Government.
Since 1981, Bloomberg has kept the financial and business worlds humming with the highest quality data, news, and analytics. Bloomberg Government (or BGOV as we call it) seeks to bring the same level of transparency and analytics to the government market. We officially launched BGOV in January of 2011 and are off to a great start.
The foundation that we built at Eagle Eye is a cornerstone of BGOV. We have enhanced our already market leading processes to ingest, clean, and structure federal contract and grant data. We’ve increased the frequency at which we update our data – now weekly but going to daily. And, we are building a powerful set of analytic tools that are fully integrated with BGOV’s comprehensive information offering.
Many of our existing Eagle Eye clients have already switched over to BGOV. The vast majority of the functionality that was available on both our web and disk products has been integrated into BGOV.com. BGOV is also a one stop shop for legislative and regulatory information, Beltway and corporate calendars, company and Congressional directories, thousands of qualified news sources, transcripts, CRS reports, and proprietary BGOV analysis – all at a single price.
As of August 1, we are fully transitioning from eagleeyepublishers.com to BGOV.com. Industry leading federal contract and grant data will continue to be available through BGOV.com.
